Joylands For Your Child
All children are precious to God and to us! We value your child’s uniqueness and the love God has for them.
Joylands Children & Family Ministry helps your child experience God, as they are and where they are. We welcome special needs children and want to work with you to make their experience meaningful and safe.
We bring the Bible alive through songs, drama, hands-on activities and worship experiences that help your child grow to know God and his love for them.
Sunday Children’s Worship
While you attend Worship on the Main Level, your child experiences Children’s Worship on the Lower Level or can be cared for in the Main Level Nursery. For parents who prefer to keep their infant with them in worship, our Baby Break Room provides a video feed of the service.
Nursery
Sundays 10:00 a.m. – noon
Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
2/3 year-old Worship
Sundays 11:00 a.m.
4 & 5 year-old & 1st- 5th grade Worship
Sundays 11:00 a.m.
Small Groups for Children
While you attend an adult small group, your child will enjoy learning about God through stories, fun games and activities, and play in a loving and safe small group environment. Children also learn about serving others with monthly nursing home trips made available to all kids in small groups.
2 years old – 5th grade (several groups are available by age)
Sundays 10:00 a.m. – noon
Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Look for Jump In dates on the calendar! These are special dates for newcomers to join Worship or a small group for the first time! You child is welcome every week, but this is just another special time to invite your child to try-it-out for the first time!
Special Activities & Seasonal Events
Monthly service opportunities and special activities that nurture a child’s faith are also a part of Joylands. Seasonal events, such as retreats and VBS Summer Camps, keep God in the forefront of the life of children at Christ Church. Check out the calendar for what’s up now! Joylands For You
Being a parent is wonderful, but can sometimes be challenging! Instilling your values in your child is never easy.
We provide weekly fliers with fun ideas to help you reinforce God’s truth through at-home activities, supporting you in your primary role as the spiritual leader for your child. Joylands also provides resourcing events through the new Think ORANGE focus that highlights the partnership that exists between parents and the church.
Your growth and uniqueness is important to us, as well. The Source provides special events for families and parents such as workshops, family worship, and Parents Night Out. Also you can connect to ministries at Christ Church such as adult small groups and women’s events and men’s events.
