First Time at Joylands?
What Happens on Sunday at 11:00 Worship?
You may be wondering where to go when you arrive on Sunday mornings. The main level entrance is used for all Joylands ministries on Sundays.
Nursery
If you are wanting to use the infant nursery (infant-1) you'll find it off the lobby to your left in room 203. Nursery ministers will greet you and help you sign-in your child and assign you a pager in case you need to be contacted.
Joylands Children Worship
If you want your child attend Joylands Worship, from the main lobby, head to the lower level using the right stairwell doors.
Once in the lower level, a greeter will direct you to the appropriate Joylands Worship room where you can sign in your child. Children ages 4 yrs.-5th grade assemble in room 102 for drop-off and pick-up. At 11:03 children move to the Joylands Worship space just down the hall from room 102. After worship, the children return to room 102 for pick-up. Children ages 2-3 years attending Joylands 2/3 Worship have drop off, pick up and worship in the same location, room 104.

Summer Road Trip:
June we dive into the Bible looking for more of God, asking questions about what makes God tick and how do people fit in and what's in it for us. The month of June we'll find ourselves examining the first places that God showed up with people and hung out. It wasn't Bethlehem, it was the desert. So off to the desert we go and then the land of Canaan to find out where God hung out. First God choose a tent, then a temple. What does it all mean? Why did God even care to have a special place where he could dwell and lead the Israelites and most importantly what does it mean for me, this very day in Lexington Kentucky.
The biggest discovery for most people about God is when they realize God wants to be with them. How does the big fancy tent tell us that? God wanted to dwell with his people then and God still wants to today. Discovering the past about God makes us appreciate what has happened with Jesus and us. No longer does God choose to dwell in a temple with the people. God wants to dwell in us. We are his temple made with the finest material, Jesus Christ's grace and love.
Wednesday Night or Sunday Groups
Nursery
If you are using the nursery (ages 0-2), you'll find it to your left off the lobby in room 203.
Discovery Groups If you want your child to attend a Discovery Group (ages 2yrs.-5th gr.) you'll find them in the lower level. Get to the lower level by using the left stairwell door off the lobby. Once in the lower level a greeter will help you find the appropriate room where you child will be signed in. Check rooms numbers in the age level links. Children stay in their rooms throughout the night or use the large play area for games, etc. But you will pick them up in the same room you dropped them off. Sundays, 10:00-10:45 all year or Wednesday nights 6:30-8:00 p.m., school year.
"Ministry on the Go" If you want your child to join this service team you'll find the leaders in the Welcome Center just off the lobby to the left, room 202. Please sign-in your child with the leader. You pick up your child in the lower level room 102.
