Why do we worship? What is worship all about? Where else do you go to sing songs with a group of people? Where else do you go and listen to someone talk for twenty to thirty minutes? What is this peculiar thing called “worship” all about, anyway? Jesus says that we are to worship in spirit and truth, but so often it seems worship is more about entertainment.

Join us as Pastor Chris Howlett leads us in a new series called “Worship Elements” and we explore the biblical basis for praising God and experiencing His presence.

Advent Family Celebration

All Church

Start: Nov 30 2008 - 18:00

End: Nov 30 2008 - 19:30

Everyone is invited to a celebration to kick-off the Christmas Season. People can make an Advent Wreath for their homes and receive a special devotion booklet to prepare for Christmas Day each week in December. Cost is $5. Also, enjoy helping decorate the Christ Church Christmas tree, make ornaments for home and get a casual picture taken and developed that night. Snacks will be served as well. Kick-of the Christmas Season by putting Christ at the center!
