Chris Howlett

Lead Pastor chris(at)christchurchlex.com Pastor Chris has led Christ Church since 2000. He is married to Roz and they have three children: Chloe, Josiah, and Lydia. In his spare time, he coaches soccer and enjoys fly fishing. Chris' greatest passion is communicating the most exciting story ever told. He is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry Degree through the non-resident Beeson Pastor Program at Asbury Theological Seminary. Brenda Story

Children's & Family Pastor brenda(at)christchurchlex.com Brenda has been at Christ Church for eleven years. She is married to John and has one son, Daniel, plus a dog named Maggie, a rat and many fish. As a hobby, Brenda enjoys working around her fish pond, hiking, and swimming. She might even join her son in a round of video gaming. Helping kids and their families discover God in their everyday life is her passion.

Andy McSpadden

Andy has served as youth pastor since May of 1999. Alyssa, his wife, is a 2nd grade teacher for Fayette County. They are the parents of two boys, Will and Luke. Andy loves outdoor adventure sports such as backpacking, rappelling, biking, and rock climbing. Andy has a passion for working with students and seeing them come into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ and mature in their faith.




Randy Barnett

Randy designs "virtual stained glass," produces man-on-the-street videos and video testimonies, and leads our Media Ministry Team. He occasionally serves as teaching pastor. Randy is married to Kathy and they are parents to Zane and Autumn. Randy is a big football fan and can tell you pretty much anything you want to know about any NFL team or player.




Mark Burns

As the newest addition to the staff, Mark is enjoying leading worship and tearing it up on the guitar. In his other life he's an avid gamer and gives the best guitar lessons in town. He's married to Marie and both their parents are wondering when they'll be getting some grandchildren.
