UK Wesley Foundation is a community of people trying to follow Jesus on campus, in the city, and around the world. Since 1945 UK Wesley has sent out Christian leaders who make disciples of Jesus Christ and transform the world.  They are unique from other campus ministries because they are UK’s only residential ministry, meaning they are both a campus ministry and a Christian living community.

The mission at Wesley is to connect, develop, and send a new generation of Christian leaders who will make disciples of Jesus Christ and transform the world. The vision is to partner with God to love and transform people into deeply committed followers of Jesus Christ.

Emily Harris

This summer I was a part of a Christian Ministry in the National Parks, the Smoky Mountain Resort Ministries in Gatlinburg, where I served international students who were there to work seasonally, ministered to local artisans during the Craftsman fair, helped lead day camps at campgrounds, hosted volunteer groups, and climbed a mountain every week to serve as the chaplain to the staff at LeConte Lodge.

Kirsten Meadows

This summer, I spent four weeks in Selma, AL with a team of mission seed from TMS Global. Four years ago, this team created a non-profit called Seeds of Hope (SOH), which exists to create an atmosphere that fosters hope, creativity, and love to heal the trauma of oppression and violence in Selma. SOH is a safe and welcoming space that exists to support thriving families, vibrant neighborhoods, transformational faith, authentic unity, and black excellence. Contact me to find out more about my work in Selma and my current work while at Asbury Theological Seminary.

Global Ministry Partners

WaterStep – Shoe to Water Global Program

By donating your new and gently used shoes to WaterStep, you’ll help fund safe drinking water projects all over the world — projects that help to save hundreds of thousands of lives each year. In addition to funding water projects, donated shoes keep hundreds of tons of waste out of our landfills.

We accept gently used shoes that are free of mold/mildew. Athletic shoes are preferred, but we will accept all styles of shoes. Shoes are sold to an exporter and funds received help bring clean water to those in need.
