Mixed Group

Mixed Group – Tuesdays Starting May 18th

The online book discussion group for the bestselling book, The Color of Compromise, by Christian historian Jemar Tisby, starts on Tuesday, May 18, 7 PM. This book “provides an in-depth diagnosis for a racially divided American church and suggests ways to foster a more equitable and inclusive environment among God’s people.”  This group will go through the summer and meet for 12 sessions.  Please email Joanne Rojas to let her know if you have any questions.

New Mixed Group Still Forming

This group would be for you if you feel lost when you hear people discussing the Old Testament, if you’ve never ventured through the Bible on your own, or if you wonder what this ancient book is all about. I hope to make the group fun, open to discussion, and not feel like a seminary class. This group is not going to require hours of reading or plowing through long sections of the Bible, but rather a look at the foundational story and people in it. No special supplies or Bible is needed. There is an app for that. You may want to download the YouVersion app. Church attendance is not required. Bring a friend! Contact Travis Painter.

Women’s Small Group

The author knows what it’s like to swirl in a spiral of destructive thoughts, but she also knows we don’t have to stay stuck in toxic thinking patterns. God built a way for us to escape that downward spiral.
