The greatest joy and responsibility of the staff at Christ Church is to use their gifts and talents to build up and empower the congregation to carry out the mission of Jesus Christ. We want to make disciples of all nations, create environments and ministry opportunities that glorify Jesus, and stir the members of our spiritual family so they’ll display the power of the gospel wherever they live, work, and play.
Lead Pastor: Rev. Lynn Beach
Lynn, along with his wife Michelle, has been in full time ministry for over 30 years. He was appointed to Christ Church in November 2025. Lynn grew up in Lexington and received a Master of Divinity from Asbury Seminary in 2000. Lynn and Michelle have two daughters, Madison and Kaitlyn. Lynn enjoys playing games, hanging out with friends, and a good hike. If you are ever looking for Lynn on a Sunday morning and can’t find him, just wait for a moment because he will probably be running around close by soon.
Youth Pastor: Andy McSpadden
Andy received his seminary training from Asbury Theological Seminary and has served as youth pastor since May of 1999. Alyssa, his wife, is an elementary assistant principal for Fayette County. They are the parents to three adult sons, Wilson, Luke, and Tyler. Andy loves outdoor adventure activities such as hiking and backpacking. Andy has a passion for working with students and seeing them come into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ and mature in their faith.
Children & Family Pastor: Lorena Martins
Lorena, along with her husband, Eduardo, has served in full-time ministry with YWAM as missionaries for 12 years, first in Brazil and later in Texas. Lorena has a passion for passing her faith on to the next generation and helping children grow to become more like Christ. She loves creating spaces where children can know Jesus, grow in their faith, and learn to live out the Gospel in their everyday lives. Lorena and Eduardo have four children: Charlotte (8), Benjamin (6), Madeleine (4), and Madison (2). When Lorena is not at church, you can usually find her at home homeschooling her children, in her kitchen cooking or baking, or outside having a picnic and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Financial and Administrative Coordinator: Jackie Harned
Jackie has been with Christ Church since November 2023. With a heart for service, Jackie manages financial records, coordinates the flow of information, and provides support to church leaders, staff, and members. Jackie and her husband Keith live in Lexington and attend Southland Christian Church.
